Prior to playing bass guitar for WWA, Jay attended Harrisburg Area Community College in Pennsylvania where he studied music merchandising and production. He played upright bass for Jaxy & the Three 57s and More Fire respectively. Most notably with Jaxy & the Three 57s, Jay played the first ever Speedfreaks Ball in England.
