Cindy obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts at the University of the Incarnate Word. Since then, Cindy has appeared in film, television, commercials, and music videos. At UIW, she minored in music and, as a result, was classically trained in voice. In 2005, Cindy placed third for best female singer in The Edge Magazine's Best of 2005 Reader's Poll Awards. Prior to When Words Attack!, Cindy played keyboard for the band, Scary Manilow. While in Scary Manilow, she was voted best keyboardist in The Edge Magazine's Best of 2005, 2004, and 2003 Reader's Poll Awards.
